Minty Yogurt Cake

Wendy has been quite…intense recently, so I did not get as much time as I wanted to do some new funny DIY-project.
But this morning she decided to be cooler than her previous self, and so I managed to cook some green easy yogurt cakes for The Husband who is joining us on holiday tonight.

This recipe is so easy and quickly done (less than 15 minutes), I recommend it when your time is limited for the fun. Also, you can easily make it on holiday when you have nothing to measure or weight as the idea is to use the yogurt pot as a measuring tool.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 pack of baking powder
  • 1 yogurt pot
  • 1/2 yogurt pot of oil
  • 1,5  yogurt pots of sugar
  • 3 yogurt pots of flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 table spoon of orange blossom aroma
  • Green coloring (optional)

So, basically, as I said, it’s quite easy, all you’ll have to do is add all the ingredients as listed and stir in between each ingredients added!

Use the yogurt pot as a measuring cup.

Mix all the ingredients as listed

Make sure everything is correctly mixed before adding the eggs!

Pour the mixture up to the 3/4th of the baking mold so you leave enough space for the baking powder to do her job.3-4 of the mold

If you are like me, you probably did a mess pouring your mixture, so make sure you clean-up the baking mold so the little stain don’t burn and ruin the nice smell that will come from the oven.clean

Pre-heat your oven at 180°C then cook it at the same temperature for a full 30 minutes.

Et voilà!

Yep, it looks very green, and yet, they taste delicious!Minty yogurt cake
